A core value of my business is sustainability and at the heart of that idea are the many materials donations that I receive. I'm so grateful to all the people who think of me when they have items they want to re-home. I recently updated my Materials page here. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me through my contact page if you have any of these materials, or even something else that you have and think I might find useful.
I'm also actively collecting items for my Creative Reuse Project. Please contact me if you have anything you'd like to contribute to that as well. The mission of this project:
Montclair Creative Reuse Project is committed to fostering resource conservation, artistic expression, and creativity in education. We value the sustainable practices of repurposing and repairing above over-consumerism. We accept donations of clean, usable, but unwanted surplus goods, thereby diverting them from the waste stream. These materials are then made available to educators, artists, and the general public at affordable prices, demonstrating our core principles of Make, Fix, Share.
Items I'm collecting for this project aren't purchased new, but rather unwanted in usable condition and would range from art/school/classroom supplies, to yarn/fabric/sewing/crafts materials, to anything that could be repurposed toward an artistic endeavor. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to get involved in the project.
Thanks for your consideration! Enjoy the rest of the summer! -Claire
Hi there – I am so impressed by your mission to repurpose materials. I have some clean nice pale yellow fabric that I would like to send you in case it is useful to you or students etc. Where can I mail it? Thank you.
