This is the 4th year Montclair has participated in Make Music Day, a global celebration of free music that happens annually on June 21st, the summer solstice. Make Music Day is open to anyone who wants to participate no matter what their skill level. Venues all around Montclair will host performances at different times all day and into the evening. The day will kickoff with a Ukulele Parade and Mass Appeal, when people come together and learn the chosen song, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", on ukulele and play in unison, attracting on-lookers and encouraging people to join the short walk,...

The first Night Market on Glenridge Ave. was a festive and fun-filled event! I vended alongside familiar friends and networked with other local business people and artists, finding inspiration in our conversations, and renewed energy for on-going projects. June is shaping up to be a trio of celebrations right in my own neighborhood and I couldn't be happier about that! I'm busy remaking my labels, hang tags, invoices, and business cards with my new shop banner logo!
