I've been having fun making time lapse videos of me sewing. In the latest one I'm sewing part of a wholesale order I've been working on. It could be a meditation in repetition except that I'm talking to my bf the whole time. My favorite part is near the end when I kiss him goodbye!

I was happy to discover myself featured at the top of the list in Washington State's Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery's summer campaign fittingly named #10PerfectSips. My Etsy How-Tuesday Feature: How to Make Plarn was at the top of the Craft Parties list featuring the best in DIY projects matched with the perfect wine! Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery recommends their 2014 Columbia Valley Chardonnay when cutting and crocheting leftover grocery bags into cute tote bags! Sounds good to me!

In case you missed it, the Montclair Sidewalk Sale last Saturday was a blast! As I've done in the past, I set up in front of Mundo Vegan, the owners love supporting local merchants. I've know them since my Copabananas days, great folks and great food! It was a beautiful day and Church St. was the place to be! I debuted my new Tshirt Backpacks! Each one features a "patch", a design or word cut from another shirt and stitched somewhere on the backpack, as well as a Montclair Made label, love them!

The recent bike swap at Hillside School was a success for Bike&Walk Montclair and I was happy to have contributed by donating a bike this year. My daughter and I were included in the promotional video made by Jerry Fried during the event. Their next event, the Magical History Bike tour, is happening on June 18!

April has come and gone but the showers linger and May in Montclair is soggy and cold. But we press on...so many birthdays and street fairs and walking tours to attend! Tulips, lilacs, and dogwoods bloom around town as we celebrate our mothers and enjoy May baskets for Montclair Blooms! May showers bring May flowers...in Montclair!
